SUMMARY
Responsible for overall cleanliness of designated offices and deep cleaning of all plant infrastructure and equipment on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Empties trash and recycling receptacles and cardboard and plastic wrap compactors.
• Sorts and disposes of recyclable items in the recycling bin.
• Sweeps, wet-mops and/or vacuums floors in cafeteria, childcare, gym, offices, and all warehousing areas.
• Cleans bathrooms, including sinks, toilets and floors.
• Restocks dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels and soap.
• Carries out special cleaning projects as required; including stripping and waxing floors and carpet cleaning.
• Cleans equipment and infrastructure using cleaning chemicals, foamers and allocators (Weekend)
• Cleans and drives all rolling stock including pickers, forklifts, scissor lifts and pallet jacks.
(Weekend)
• Deep cleans floors using ride on floor scrubbers and hand mopping.
(Weekend)
• Strives to reduce waste, recycle products whenever possible, and re-use resources when practical.
• Works safely at all times, follows safety rules and policies and participates in scheduled training.
• Reports injuries and near misses promptly and in required detailed format; proposes corrective action.
• Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisor responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple notices and instructions, including operating procedures and safety rules.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
QUANTITATIVE SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Ability to work in a team environment
