Summary/Objective
The Dishwasher position is responsible for providing sanitized, clean smallwares.
Needs to be able to tackle large tasks breaking them down into smaller tasks utilizing tools available.
Must be thorough, aware of details, and have high standards of safety.
Our taprooms are extremely busy and fast paced- must be excited to work in a rush.

Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
On a daily basis- complete pre and post shift cleaning tasks.
Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils and other kitchen equipment.
Cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area is crucial.
This includes keeping sinks, countertops, and floors clean and free of debris, as well as regularly emptying trash and recycling bins.
Following proper sanitation and hygiene protocols is critical to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
This includes handling chemicals safely and using protective equipment as necessary.
Work as a team to achieve time sensitive tasks.
Safely maintain and operate kitchen equipment.

Work Environment
This position operates in a hospitality/ brewery environment.
This role routinely uses cleaning supplies/chemicals, high heat kitchen equipment and dishwashing equipment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position is very active and requires standing, rotating, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time to full-time position and hours of work/ days may vary from week to week.
Schedules will be posted the week prior to allow time for employee’s to be informed of work requirements.
The business is open 7 days a week during many day parts.
Evening and weekends are very likely a requirement.

Experience working as a dishwasher is preferred but not required.
