This position is responsible for a variety of office/clerical tasks involving expertise regarding the operational and in some instances the internal customer support for the Bank’s CIP check back process.
This area also needs to understand how accounts and portfolios are set up, how maintenance affects those set-ups, have a clear understanding of account ownership, and understand our bank CIP requirements as they relate to account set-up.
Responsibilities:
Review all Deposit and Safe Deposit Box new account reports to ensure that CIP packets are being submitted in a timely manner for each account that is opened
Review all Deposit and Safe Deposit Box CIP packets to make sure that the bank’s CIP guidelines are being followed and proper documents are obtained and accounts are set up with the correct codes on our Core system.
Review the W-8’s and W-9’s on new accounts to make sure proper documentation is in place
Develop a working knowledge of Account Analysis in order to assist employees with questions
Reconcile the Fed ACH Clearing GL on a daily basis
Review rate exceptions
Provide back-up to the Bill Payment product
Assist with maintenance on many clean-up projects
Monitor and prepare monthly Reg D reports for the Compliance Committee
Monitor monthly NOW account reports to make sure only eligible accounts have NOW accounts
Review and update procedures associated with this job description at least annually
Perform back-up duties as assigned
Assist other Deposit Operations staff as necessary including completing deposit verifications, research requests, miscellaneous internal and external customer requests and other miscellaneous departmental duties
Assure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures as well as applicable state and federal banking regulations

Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree with some post high school education or related work experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
