You're looking at an extremely rare Drake 1A ham radio receiver.
This HF amateur radio band receiver was the RL Drake company's first amateur radio receiver, circa 1957-58, with only approximately 500 of these radios made.
It was a revolutionary design for its time, being designed for single sideband use, taking up a fraction of the space of competing radios, weighed less than 20 pounds (when competing radios often weighed 50-100 pounds) and outperformed the competition.
This radio began Drake's long legacy of producing high-performance amateur and professional radio equipment, which carried on into the early 2000s.
This radio covers the 80-10 meter amateur bands, plus gives coverage of WWV at 10 MHz.
It has a 100 kHz crystal calibrator and speaker built in.
The radio powers up immediately and receives well on all bands.
I used it for a few years at my vintage radio position and enjoyed it.
I've enjoyed having it around, but newer shiny radio objects have come into the house and I don't have a spot on the bench for this any longer.
So, it's time to find a new home for this cool piece of radio history.
Price: $450/best offer.
