*Duties:*
* Interfacing with clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings to provide updates and address their immigration-related inquiries.
* Drafting professional and clear forms, email correspondence, and letters for effective client communication.
* Liaising with clients to maintain a positive relationship and provide assistance throughout the immigration process.
* Assembling complete immigration applications for filing with government agencies.
* Maintaining and updating our case management system, both physically and electronically, to ensure accurate and organized case records.
* Proofreading legal documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission.
* Assisting with general administrative office tasks, including filing, data entry, scanning, photocopying, and other routine tasks as needed.
* Managing and being responsible for important deadlines related to immigration cases.
* Filing documents with government agencies and courts in a timely and accurate manner.
* Assisting with the preparation and filing of immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
* Analyzing case documents and preparing immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agencies.
* Drafting cover letters to government agencies and clients.
* Regularly updating our case management system with client information, case tracking data, and communications.
* Communicating with government officials regarding procedural and case processing issues.
* Assisting in the review of immigration cases to ensure accuracy and compliance with immigration regulations.
*Qualifications:*
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Capable of handling a large caseload
* Proficiency in using case management software and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
* Professionalism
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Office and Microsoft
* Passionate and considerate
* Ability to be independent and confident in your work
* A high degree of self motivation and ability to work independently and confidently under tight deadlines
* Excellent multitasking and time management skills
* Knowledge of learning and development best practices
* Knowledge of immigration law and procedures is a plus but not required.
*Requirements:*
* 3+ years in the legal field, or other administrative position
* Associates or Bachelors degree (preferred)
* Bilingual (preferred)
