* *Minimum Qualifications: *Preference of a BA or BS from an accredited college or university and/or a combination of education and experience which totals three years.
A service provision background is essential.
Supervisory experience is required.
*Other Qualifications: *A valid driver's license and a driving record that is acceptable from a risk management perspective are required.
The ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form and perform basic computer skills is essential.
*Position Summary*: Reporting to the Director of Residential Services, the Residential Home Manager oversees the day-to-day provision of care to individuals served in one of The Village Community residential homes.
The Residential Home Manager will also be expected to remain familiar with the other two houses in the residential program and potentially assist at these houses at times.
The primary responsibilities detailed below are subject to change, any changes will be communicated clearly and in writing.
\*Select tasks described below may be delegated to Direct Support Professionals with approval from the Director of Residential Services, however, ultimate responsibility for ensuring completion still rests with the Residential Home Manager *Primary Responsibilities*: *A.
Service Provision* 1.
Attends annual/ISP meetings; providing updates and recommendations 2.
Ensures services are provided as stated in the TVC Plan for Support.
3.
Responsible for member’s health appointments as coordinated with families.
This includes using provided tracking tools and forms to track, schedule, attend, and document appointments, communicating relevant information with families, the Director of Residential Services, and Direct Support Professionals as appropriate.
4.
Responsible for management of medications.
This includes proactively reviewing and updating medication supply, documentation, and prescription changes.
Relevant information should be shared with families, the Residential Director, and direct care staff as appropriate.
5.
Assist with reviewing SCL documentation and addressing concerns with direct care staff.
6.
Work approximately 20-30 hours of direct care (depending on the needs of the house), primarily during awake hours.
10-20 hours will be reserved for administrative duties, appointments, etc.
7.
Ensures that the necessary materials and supplies (groceries, personal hygiene products, medications, etc.
) are always available and purchased within the allocated budget.
8.
Ensure a safe, sanitary, and well-maintained household through the use of checklists and additional tools.
9.
Regularly reviews house documentation (communication logs, MARS, cleaning checklists, etc.
) and addresses missing/inadequate information with direct care staff as needed.
Ensures that all documentation is complete and prepared for review by the Residential Director by the end of each month.

Participate in the on-call rotation, please see attached on-call expectations for more information.
*B.
Supervision* 1.
Assist with training direct care staff on individual and house specific aspects of direct service provision.
Responsible for ensuring direct care staff provide high-quality service provision and implementation of service plan.
2.
Assists Residential Director with annual performance evaluations for direct care staff.
Provides on-going and timely feedback on performance and addresses performance concerns with the support and guidance of the Residential Director.
3.
Maintains ongoing communication with direct care staff, assists with organizing and attending staff meetings at least monthly.
4.
Actively communicates all relevant updates with the Residential Director and Executive Director as needed.
Participates in weekly (or as needed) meetings with Residential Director for this purpose.
*C.
Financial* 1.
Completion (or assists Residential Director with completion) of staff schedules that reflect appropriate ratios and are in line with approved service units on a monthly basis.
2.
Responsible for working/filling open direct care shifts in a financially responsible manner.
3.
Regularly review house financial ledgers for accuracy and follow up with Direct Care Staff regarding missing or inaccurate information promptly.
*D.

The position entails a high degree of accountability and consequence of error.
Is responsible for the health and safety of individuals receiving services, money, agency assets, equipment, and personnel.
Errors in judgment can result in severe consequences to the agency.

The position represents the organization in many different forums.
Professionalism in conduct is expected.
4.
This position requires communication and interplay with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
Therefore, professional and timely communication is considered a key component of this position.

This is an hourly position at $20/hour with evening and weekend hours Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.
