Cook II - Production

The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics department of Food and Nutrition Services is seeking a Cook II to perform a variety of tasks under direct supervision, perform general cooking duties using standardized recipes and perform other preparation and sanitation duties as required.
Involves making large batch recipes in a Cook/Chill operation following HACCP plan Prepares and standardizes recipes Cleans and sanitizes equipment according to HACCP plan Plans production schedule and maintains appropriate inventory Supervises other Production unit staff as needed University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics—recognized as one of the best hospitals in the United States—is Iowa's only comprehensive academic medical center and a regional referral center.
