Requisition # 75150 Position Basics Type of Position CLINICAL-TRACK Advertising Ends on: Extended Until Position is Filled Advertising Started on: Friday, February 23rd, 2024 College: College of Dentistry Department: Prosthodontics Salary Salary: Commensurate Position Details Full/Part Time Status: Full Time Position Description: The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time clinical-track faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics.
Major responsibilities include: overseeing the treatment of patients and education of dental students in the prosthodontic dental student clinics; teaching undergraduate and/or graduate level courses; and treatment of private patients in the department’s intramural faculty practice.
Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.
Education Requirement: DDS/DMD or equivalent; and by time of appointment, Master's Degree or Certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA/CDAC-accredited program; -OR- DDS/DMD or equivalent; by time of appointment, completion of advanced training program in Prosthodontics; and at least one year of advanced Prosthodontic training in a CODA/CDAC-accredited school.
Required Qualifications: Master's Degree or Certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA/CDAC-accredited program; completion of advanced training program in Prosthodontics; and at least one year of advanced Prosthodontic training in a CODA/CDAC-accredited school.
Desirable Qualifications: Clinical experience via private, military, or institutional practice.
