Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient's symptoms, progress, and reactions to treatments
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist in the coordination of patient care activities
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Minimum of [X] years of nursing experience, preferably in a primary care or hospital setting
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
- Knowledge of various medical procedures such as spinal taps, mammography, airway management, dermal fillers, etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in home care is a plus
