Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Certified CT Tech to join our team in Iowa City, Iowa, for a short-term contract position.
The ideal candidate will hold a national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and possess strong technical skills and a dedication to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities: Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and reporting of results.
Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Provide support and assistance to other members of the healthcare team as needed.
Requirements: National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT).
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating CT equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
