Dental Hygienist

*Dental Hygienist – Iowa City, IA* *Onsite Position* *Job Description* * Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8am-5pm * Wednesday - 1pm-6pm * Friday's -closed *Roles & Responsibilities * * Conducting oral health assessments and screenings * Cleaning and scaling teeth to remove plaque and calculus * Applying fluoride treatments and sealants * Taking and developing dental x-rays * Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques * Administering local anesthesia when necessary * Assisting the dentist during procedures * Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation *Benefits * * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off *Requirements* * Experience in performing vital signs and medical documentation * Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions * Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eagle soft, Dentrix, CAD, or Epic * Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus * Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality * Ability to work effectively in a dental office setting * Please note that a valid Dental Hygienist license is required for this position.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $71,000.
