Area Closing Manager - $100,000 - $300,000+ Annually

We are launching a door to door channel within our established solar sales org and as an Outside Sales Manager, you will be leader of the pack! If you are used to working hard to earn commissions and love the idea of keeping that high earning potential but want to enhance that by earning overrides from team members we'll help you recruit, here is your opportunity! We are looking for someone confident in their individual ability to close pre-set appointments in addition to managing a team of fellow closers.

Primary Responsibilities:
Effectively manage pre-set appointments and consistently achieve high closing rates to serve as a role model and inspire the team
Personally close sales deals through overcoming objections
Train and motivate the team for continuous improvement
Manage the territory to meet sales targets
Review performance metrics regularly and coach for improvement
Interview candidates and train new hires
Conduct 2-3 sales meetings per week
Qualifications:
Outside Sales experience is a must
Demonstrated leadership experience is a must
Managing a sales team is a must
Door-to-door sales experience is a plus
Solar experience is a plus
Based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, or within a one hour radius of either to serve our local market effectively
Have a smart phone and vehicle for smooth communication and transportation to assigned areas
A passion for developing individuals to reach their full potential
A strong inclination for monitoring and achieving KPIs
Committed to holding the team accountable for meeting targets
Places significant emphasis on fostering a positive team culture
Example of a week in the life:
Must be available to work evenings & Saturday's
Meetings/Training
Monday & Thursday: 1pm - 2pm
Field Work (In an assigned territory)
Monday - Friday: 2pm - 8pm
Saturday: 9am - 3pm
