Starved Rock Wood Products has an excellent opportunity for a proactive Territory Sales Manager to join our growing business.
The Territory Sales Managers are the leaders of our Millwork and sales team.
We are looking for an individual who has a passion for developing customer relationships to generate account growth, developing new business and solutions to help the customer in a new territory.
Our Territory Sales Manager develops new business with builders and remodelers turning each new lead into a sale.
Territory
Iowa: Eastern Iowa and Western IL; Iowa City, Quad City, Cedar Rapids
Responsibilities
Achieve sales goals by providing well-rounded solutions and market expertise
Devote over 50% of their time at customer sites generating account growth with planned quality meetings, as well as prospecting to develop new business
Build long lasting relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, and trade organizations using a consultative sales approach
Partner with customers to recommend and provide quotes on the appropriate products and solutions that help them grow their business
Utilize SRWP quoting and CRM software to prepare quotes and manage customer relationships
Leverage internal quoting resources to assist with quote activity
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
2 years of direct sales experiences with builder or home owner sales.
Previous cabinetry sales experience preferred.
Experience in understanding blueprints, floorplan, and other construction documents.
Cabinetry and staircase product knowledge preferred.
Lumber yard experience a plus.
Generate profitable sales by originating leads and conducting sales presentations
Accurately measure existing products to provide accurate sizing for quoted products
Quote cabinet and stair projects
Build and maintain lasting relationships with builders, contractors, architects? and homeowners
Effectively use multiple software and systems to quote, sell and communicate with client
Accurately read and interpret blueprints
Work individually and as part of a team
Complete relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
This position is performed in an office or a construction/remodel worksite.
May be exposed to loud operating machinery, cold and hot temperatures.
May require a combination of sitting, standing, driving, and walking
May require use of Personal computer, copy machine, other office equipment, Microsoft Office, Access, PowerPoint
